The Arts Council serves as a pivotal organization for over
30 affiliated groups and individual artists, offering collaboration,
administrative support, facility support, technical assistance,
grants and leadership in advocating for community arts programming.
These affiliates contribute greatly to the cultural life of
Steamboat Springs and Routt County. Dance concerts, exhibits,

offers an eight-week screenwriting seminar at various times
of the year which really will get you writing!
Additionally, in partnership with director Chris Nyby, Dori
and Chris offer an eight-week Language of Film Class which provides
film viewing and discussion from two people who have been there
when the rain is pouring and the sun was supposed to shine,
the star wont come out of his trailer or the studio wants the
script rewritten at the last minute. Great films, lively discussion,
