In the simplest of terms my work is figurative and autobiographical. The focus may begin with specific ideas and events, but moves on to more elemental sensations and states of mind, how they overlap in time and memory, come into conflict or resolution ...the paradoxical desires to remember or forget, control or let go, create or even destroy.
