We invite you to participate in the 34th Annual Art in the Park festival. This popular and successful event takes place in July 12th and 13th 2008 and combines with the ProRodeo and Balloon Rodeo of Steamboat Springs. Eight to ten thousand people attend this arts & crafts festival, which is located in West Lincoln Park, just west of downtown Steamboat Springs along US 40 in beautiful Northwest Colorado. Christmas in the Rockies
December 8th 2007



This annual arts and crafts show has a Christmas theme, with vendors offering holiday gift and decor items. 1,500 people attend this annual event, held in early December.

This annual holiday market features local and regional artisans selling their handmade goods, including jewelry, fiber, ceramics, fine art and so much more! Come to this unique artisan’s market to jumpstart your holiday shopping and get in the spirit. You are sure to find that unique handmade gift for everyone on your list, and you’ll probably walk away with a gift or two for yourself!

Call for Cover Artwork for Yampa Valley Art and Gallery Guide

The Steamboat Springs Arts Council and Ski Town Publications, Inc., are hosting a juried competition to select the cover artwork for the premiere edition of the Yampa Valley Arts & Gallery Guide, a publication that highlights the thriving arts community of the Yampa Valley.

The winning artwork will be featured on the cover, and the artist will receive recognition in the Spring/Summer edition of the publication plus be able to stage

· Deadline for entries is March 28, 2008.

- Artists may enter up to 3 pieces. Entries must be supplied as high-resolution digital images. 3-D pieces may be represented with 2 digital images.

The winning artwork will be indicative of the thriving visual arts community in Steamboat Springs. It will be distinctive, dramatic and representative of the best that the Yampa Valley has to offer. The selected artist will also receive recognition in a feature article in this edition of the Yampa Valley Arts & Gallery Guide.
